Millet Tabbouleh Salad

Serving amount: 10 portions
Preparation time: 30 min

Ingredients

100 g millet
200 ml water

1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
1 bunch of fresh Nana mint, finely chopped
juice out of ½ – 1 lemon
20-40 ml olive oil (by flavour)

Spices by flavour: salt, pepper

Preparation

  1. Put millet with water into a small pot and bring to boil.
  2. Lower the heat and continue cooking until the millet reaches the water level.
  3. Cover with a lid and continue cooking on low heat for about 5 more minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and leave with the lid closed for about 10 more minutes.
  5. Then add all the remaining ingredients and mix.

    i saw your recipe any way millet recipes are always healthy, but just for a curiosity which millet is used to make this dish or else can we go with different millet for this salad

    Any kind of millet would work, but if you want to stay as close as possible to the original Bulgur (wheat) Tabbouleh salad it would be best to use a small grain golden millet.
